How-to and Where-to plant guidelines
Planting trees around your home will conserve energy and lower the cost of utility bills. Three well-placed deciduous (leaf-losing) trees on the east, south, and west sides of a home will shade it from summer sun and lower air conditioning costs by 10 to 50 percent. This is a good article, need to show it to my mom, who was asking for an air cooler.
The problem people see is the delay in growing trees and as people in India are getting ready pay a little more for electricity and lack of space in urban India,they will choose coolers our trees.
